Associate Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Data Science
Dr. Olivier Gevaert is an associate professor at Stanford University focusing on machine-learning methods for biomedical decision support from multi-scale data. He trained as an electrical engineer with additional expertise in artificial intelligence, and holds a PhD in bioinformatics from the University of Leuven, Belgium. He completed his postdoc in radiology at Stanford before establishing his lab in the Department of Medicine.
